Our Philosophy

As long as this country has existed, injuries have occurred in the workplace. On the
railroad line and later on the assembly line, employers’ disregard for safety during the
past two centuries consistently exposed employees to physical injury resulting from
mechanical hazards. Those were Yesterday’s Wrongs.

More recently, with the workplace shifting from a manufacturing and machine-driven
world to a service and computer-driven environment, it is employers’ disregard not just
for their employees’ safety, but a disregard for other rights of employees, for the sake of
the bottom line, which puts employees in harm’s way and at financial and psychological
risk. This broader set of wrongs constitute Today’s Wrongs.
